Intro to Quilting - 2 part course - Oct 19 + 26, 6:30 - 9pm

Please Note this is an Intermediate level course. You should be comfortable with your own sewing machine and have done some general sewing projects on your own. If borrowing a machine, you must have taken minimum 4 classes at Downtown Sewing within the past few months. We will be checking upon registration.

Learn the fundamentals of quilting in this 2 part course. Piecing and quilting will be covered. We will use essential quilting accessories such as the 1/4" foot and walking foot. If you have a Janome sewing machine (or you are borrowing ours), we can lend these accessories. If you have a different brand of machine, you must have these 2 accessories for the class. 

By the end, you will have made your own simple quilted placemat! (results may vary from the photo).

All fabric, notions, and tools are provided. BYOM or borrow a sewing machine (included upon request via email).
