How long do I have to cancel and receive a refund?

Each class has a cancellation window listed in the description. For most one-time classes it is minimum 5 days (120 hours) before the class starts. For 2 part or 4 parts classes, it may be longer. Please consult the class description for the exact amount of time.

Can I transfer to a future date?

If you contact us within the cancellation window, we will be happy to transfer you to another class date. Or we can issue you a refund so that you may sign up for another class in the future. Once the cancellation window is passed, date transfers are not possible.

Why can't I switch dates (or receive a credit) after the cancellation window has passed? 

With only a few days’ notice (or less), it’s very difficult to fill a newly vacant spot. When a class fee is transferred or refunded at the last minute, Downtown Sewing absorbs the cost of that missed seat. If we were to do this regularly, it would become challenging to continue offering small-group, high-quality sewing classes at affordable prices.

For this reason, we’re unable to provide refunds or transfers once the cancellation window has closed, regardless of the circumstance. We truly appreciate your understanding and support!
