Gathered Skirt - 2 part course (BYOM) - July 30 + August 6, 6:30-9pm

Sew a simple gathered skirt with us! Learn how to make a gathered waistband with elastic + drawstring finish (with buttonhole drawstring openings). If there's time, we will sew on a patch pocket. 

Bring your own fabric and thread. Elastic and drawstring provided. Minimum skill required: you have your own sewing machine and have completed a couple of projects on your own.

Skill Level: Intermediate. Please review our Skill Level Guide to make sure you're signing up for the right class. This class is BYOM (bring your own sewing machine).

*IMPORTANT* Choose your own fabric! Participants must purchase/bring 3-4 yards of fabric. We recommend King Textiles @161 Spadina Ave. Old bedsheets work too! Any light-medium weight woven fabric will work. We will send out cutting instructions in advance of the class (very simple rectangle pieces). Everything else is provided (elastic, drawstring, needles, cutting/marking/pinning tools, etc,). Just bring the fabric and your sewing machine!
