In this technical workshop, you’ll be introduced to patternmaking through manipulation of a basic skirt block. You’ll learn how to work with measurements, use essential drafting tools, and transform a block into your own stylized skirt design.
This is a dense, technical workshop full of information. With only 4 spots in the class, you'll receive excellent attention and instruction. If you're a sewist who's been wanting to learn pattern drafting but didn't know where to start, this is the perfect course for you!
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have:
-
A skirt pattern drafted in an industry size 10
-
An understanding of basic drafting tools and terminology
-
Confidence to modify or create your own skirt designs
- Optional: a muslin or finished version of your skirt
