This two-part beginner sewing course is the perfect introduction for anyone eager to learn how to sew—no equipment or experience needed. All machines and supplies are provided, so you can focus on learning and creating. In the first class, you'll get hands-on instruction in setting up a sewing machine, threading, adjusting tension, and using basic stitch functions. By the end of the session, you’ll apply your new skills to complete a simple and functional tote bag to take home.
In the second class, you'll explore practical clothing alterations, with a focus on hemming pants and tailoring waistbands. You'll learn how to take accurate measurements, mark adjustments, and sew clean, wearable alterations. Whether you're looking to start a new hobby or gain useful skills, this course provides a supportive environment, high-quality tools, and expert instruction to get you stitching with confidence.
No experience required. Just bring yourself!
